Okay...it is really okay to use sauces out of a jar some time :) By adding other ingredients to it, your family or guests will never know you didn't make it from sratch. Most families, today, are so busy...going in 10 different directions on a daily basis. I am always trying to figure out how I can make a recipe super easy, super fast, yet super delicious. I think this is one! Hope you will try it!

Angel Hair Pasta topped with Shrimp and Alfredo Sauce
½ cup onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 ½ pounds shrimp, peeled
1 cup frozen green peas, thawed (optional)
Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion power, Cajun seasoning (1 teaspoon of each)
2 jars alfredo sauce (I use Bertolli)
Angel hair pasta, cooked and drained
In a large skillet, sauté onion in butter and olive oil for about 3 to 4 minutes.  Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute.  Add shrimp and cook 5 minutes, stirring often.  Add seasonings, green peas and sauce.  Taste and add more seasonings to your liking.  Cover and simmer on very low heat for 20 to 30 minutes.  Serve over angel hair pasta and top with fresh grated parmesan cheese.  Enjoy!
