My Salisbury Steak recipe...so easy, so delicious, so comforting :)

SALISBURY STEAKS

1 ½ pounds ground sirloin

½ cup breadcrumbs

½ cup quick-cooking oats

1 egg

1 to 2 teaspoons each of salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and Cajun seasoning

1 large onion, sliced into thick rings

1 can golden mushroom soup

1 can beefy mushroom soup

½ can beef consommé

Mix first 5 ingredients together and make patties (this will make 6-8 patties).    In a large skillet or electric skillet, brown patties on each side, about 5-7 minutes each.  Place sliced onions over patties and mix 3 soups together well and pour over patties.  Turn down to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes to an hour.

  1. Great Salisbury steak recipe! When cooking steak, don't forget to check for the doneness of the steak. You may do so by using your sense of touch. Using your palm and your index finger, you would be able to compare and tell the doneness of the meat.

  2. Yummy! Steak usually goes with at least 10-step procedures, but this one sounds a lot easier than the regular one. Well, it’s basically combining all the ingredients then leaving it to the skillet for the meat to get done. This ideal to serve on spontaneous home-gathering or backyard BBQ with your friends. Thanks for sharing!
